Numerology dates and Panchang muhurat
Many families fix the wedding by a muhurat from the Panchang, chosen by the family pandit or astrologer from the tithi, nakshatra and the planetary positions of the day. That tradition matters, and this reading does not ask you to set it aside.
A numerology date looks at something different: the number of the date itself and how it sits with both partners’ numbers. The two can work together. If your pandit has already given you muhurat options, send them and Namieta will tell you which suits your numbers best. If you start with numerology dates, take the shortlist to your pandit to fix the muhurat and time.
Namieta also reads Kundli and astrology. If you would like the dates looked at from the astrology side as well, say so on WhatsApp and send both partners’ time and place of birth.

Engagement and marriage dates: common questions
Is a numerology date the same as a Panchang muhurat?
No. A muhurat is chosen from the Panchang, using the tithi, nakshatra and planetary positions of the day. A numerology date is chosen by the numbers of the date and how they suit both partners. Many families use both: the muhurat for the ritual timing and numerology to choose between dates.
Our pandit has already given us muhurat dates. Can you still help?
Yes. Send the dates along with both partners’ names and dates of birth. Namieta will check the number of each date against your numbers and tell you which ones suit you both.
How is the number of a date worked out?
There are two numbers. The day number is the day reduced to one digit: the 18th gives 1 + 8 = 9. The date total adds every digit of the full date: 18-02-2027 gives 1+8+0+2+2+0+2+7 = 22, then 2 + 2 = 4.
Can you find dates for both the engagement and the wedding?
Yes. Tell Namieta which events you are planning and the months you are considering, and the dates can be planned together.
Can I use the free lucky date calculator instead?
The Lucky Date Calculator lists the dates in a month whose numbers suit one or two people’s Moolank and Bhagyank. It is a good first look. The reading adds your names, your shortlisted dates, the astrology side if you ask for it, and Namieta’s advice.
Does a good date guarantee a happy marriage?
No. A suitable date is one helpful choice, not a guarantee. The love, commitment and understanding between the two of you matter most, and the final decision should feel right to both of you.
